Government and Media Affairs
JCRC engages in advocacy and education on issues affecting the Jewish community. We work with Ohio Jewish Communities, Jewish Federations of North America, and Jewish Council for Public Affairs on legislative initiatives. We are the “go to” resource for information regarding Jewish Toledo and Israel, and are frequently featured in local news.
Some of our recent past meetings with elected officials and candidates include:
- Meeting with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine
- Meetings with U.S. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D) and U.S. Congressman Bob Latta (R)
- Meetings with all three candidates for Ohio House District 41 and both candidates for Ohio Senate District 11 in 2022
